Adding an appliance
Before adding a new Natural Gas appliance you will need to contact your Natural Gas retailer to confirm that your current meter is suitable.

Certificates of Compliance
Gas fitting rules require that a Certificate of Compliance be submitted after all gas fitting work has been completed.
You can purchase a Certificate of Compliance book from leading plumbers’ suppliers or by contacting www.gasmen.com.au.

BASIX
BASIX (the Building Sustainability Index) is a NSW Government initiative to ensure homes are designed to be responsible for less greenhouse gas emissions.
All new residential dwellings, as well as residential developments with estimated costs of works of $50,000 or more, must obtain a BASIX Certificate before a development application can be processed.
