Singleton's Got Gas
Jemena Gas Networks (NSW) Ltd, the owner of the majority of gas networks in NSW, is extending the Natural Gas network into south-eastern streets of Singleton passing 800 homes as a Pilot. This pilot is being done with the support of Singleton Council. If the pilot is successful, and further extension of the network is viable, Jemena Gas Networks (NSW) Ltd would look to continue expansion into other areas of the Singleton township.
Jemena Gas Networks (NSW) Ltd have not announced an extension of the Natural Gas network into existing residential areas for 10 years. Singleton has been chosen as a pilot area to trial a new approach to expansion and connection to the network. The success of this pilot will determine if we can extend the Natural Gas network into other areas of Singleton and NSW.
Eligible residential property owners can connect for free and have a new Natural Gas hot water system installed free of charge. This is an amazing offer, but as you can imagine is subject to terms and conditions, so please read the details about the Pilot and the offer before committing to connect and accept the offer.
